Hi everyone!!!! I’m macey, but I think my mermaid name is gonna be mermaid sky. I don’t own a tail yet and I’m still figuring things out trying to become a mermaid. Any advice would be helpful! I’m going to get a fabric tail first, but when I’m older I want to get a professional tail and do modeling. Also, does anyone have any recommendations on where to swim with the tail. The closest pool to me is a local wreck center or a YMCA. I live in cartersville, GA so there’s not many places to swim. Thanks for reading!

Hi!
I Highly recommend Finfun tails, They are great for beginners. As for places to swim, I mostly just swim in backyard pools for these reasons: 1. You are with people you know, so strangers won't really be an issue. 2, Most backyard pools are very smooth, so it isn't as easy to ruin your tail. 3, its much easier to tell other people how to swim safe with someone in a mermaid tail, Because you already know them, so it isn't as awkward. just make sure the pool has some depth, like around 6-9 feet in the deepest part. check out "Courtney mermaid" on YouTube, and watch as many safety videos as possible. I hope this helps,
MTM
Hey I had responded to your message you sent me I would suggest going to a spring if you have any or if you have a pool I live near Madison blue springs I will be going there this next weekens (I live in valdosta ga) I use my family's pool for the time being and I'm still trying to get my first tail so for now I just have my monofin my and my lil brother r in our own lil pod because I haven't found any pods in ga or around where we live.
