Just did a price check on rooms for arrival Friday June 5th and departing Monday June 8th just to see what they are for everyday people. Currently the Candlewood Suites Naval Base location is at $118 plus taxes a night. I'll have to keep checking for my employee rate but still $118 isn't bad if you share.

Just learned that the job basically fired me without telling me. Lovely.....and I'm gonna go to austin in a few weeks to use my dad's car for driving test....but...I may not have an apartment come march because my dad very conveniently "forgot" to send his paycheck stubs to the leasing office. He's our cosigner for our lease....SoooooYEAH....and then I might end up in Austin at my grandparents for a while if I don't get an apartment here...so...I dunno. And thanks for the ride offer! I'll keep that in mind!

I hate sharing my good news now but if I don't I'm afraid I'll forget later. My mom and I will be bringing my cousin's 3 kids with us and my brother may be joining us along with his son and wife. It seems to be turning into a family vacation for me. I haven't had one of those since Christmas 1999.

If I go, I'd be willing to help with kids if needed. I worked at a daycare for almost a year and a half at one point. XD But tomorrow, my sister will be getting the info for my dad....XD

Lol, my cousin's kids are very well behaved. They know Medea & Aunt Suzy don't put up with anything less than well mannered behavior or the fun ends. As for my nephew he is good when his mother isn't around but since she'll be there she can discipline him or she'll find me disciplining her. Lol
