I think this year will end up being a small event due to the airfare costs for the mermaids in the East but I'm sure the following year will build up bigger and better. So many opportunities here in the West
I've been trying, and not been successful, to get a job in Sydney now that we have moved to be closer to Dad's doctors at RNS.
Fins crossed I will get something soon as I decided to go back to work as a temp, at least I'll have recent work experience to rely on to get myself a permanent job. I really want to go, and I have to make things happen or I'll be a sad fish again.

Hello fellow Mermaids and Mermen! As you might be aware we (Fifi, Jessica and myself) have been working on a nation wide meet up in Busselton WA. In respect to the original creators of Merquest we have created a new name and a new page so we can start fresh. So allow me to introduce to you "Mercon Australia" the first Australian Merfolk Convention. Mercon will be held 25th - 27th of November in Busselton WA.
