I saw a mom at a Cheer pancake fundraiser sharing pictures of a mermaid on her phone. When I let it slip that I not only knew the mermaid but swam with her on occasion, the whole Merman Dan thing came out into the open. No worries. I wear my weirdness like a badge! She showed me a video of her daughter swimming in a rainbow Fin Fun tail. When she told her daughter that I had a tail, that I was a merman, her eyes lit up with magic. And THAT moment, that smile, was worth its weight in gold!

For some reason I can see the article itself but not the sentences. I can't read it; they're just rows of gray rectangles.

Well two of them showed up at my Brother (and Mother's) dual birthday party this afternoon.

edit: I went to read the article again, and you have to answer the questions in the advertisers box every time you read it, annoying.
