I've made myself a lovely eye-catching tail out of a two way stretch sequin fabric and spandex. There's a zipper in the bottom for the flipper, and an elastic waistband. I'm curious if anyone would be interested in buying? If so, I'd offer it on my shop. The fabric swims well and looks amazingly sparkly in the water. When scratched, the sequins hold up very well and only dull a little, eventually just turning the same color of the reversible side. I've gotten a ton of compliments on mine and really think this would be a good tail for someone wanting a good realistic in between of a plain fabric tail and a fancy individually sequined neoprene tail.
To make I would require very specific measurements and a trace of the mono-fin you own.
I would first make a mock up from a non-stretch fabric (since this fabric only stretches up and down, this would be to insure the side to side fit is right), then mail that mock up to be certain this would fit.
Once mock up is green lit for final tail, the production time could take one to two weeks, as I have to cut all the sequins off along the seam. Due to this seams are noticeable and I recommend a side fin in a coordinating spandex color to help with this, although I've never had an issue with people being bothered by mine.
Fluke, waistband and fins would be in a coordinating 4-way stretch spandex of your choice. An invisible plastic zipper will be installed in the bottom, with a ruffle edge to hide it if you want.

Cost of materials on this tail is approx $100.00 USD so the cost of the final tail would double that unfortunately. I'm just testing the waters to gather interest in this.
