Did I just scroll too fast and not see any, or do not a lot of mers work with hemp? I make a crap ton of hemp macrame jewelry, so of course the first shell necklace I made for my mermaid outfit is done in hemp cord. It also has glass, wood, and ceramic beads.

I'm quite fond of hemp jewelry myself, but you're right, you don't see much hemp mermaid stuff.
