As the base I used a normal headband from flea market and first confirmed it stayed on very well by itself, and while making the thing I just every now and then tried it on to secure it stayed fit enough but not too fit, I made that mistake with one headband where I glued some small shells and it got so small I can't almost get it on my head anymore... XD So it just stays there by itself Might be that I have to figure smthn out to hold it still while swimming though, because now it definitely wouldn't stay
