That is SO KOOL!
Thanks for sharing!
While I'm quite confident I could do a similar job swimming/diving/breathholding-wise (though I usually stay down much longer than the few seconds she does in that video. and I would wave and smile a lot less), several hours in water of that temperature would probably killl me :/
Great press for us Virginia based mers!
Its not so mucj of the breath hold as it is being aware and obedient to the dive master. I've always wanted to be in an aquarium but hearing Malena's stories it takes a lot more hard work then it seems. She is very talented and has been doing free diving and scuba her whole life. Doing an aquarium gig is something I thimk we all want to do but only a few can actually do the job if that makes sense?
I wish I was away in Ingo
Far away across the briny sea
Sailing over deepest waters
Where love nor care never trouble me
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
whoa thats really cool! it never really hit me about mers in tanks in Virginia! it makes me think that there could be a chance to be in her shoes (or monofin)
Yay!!! that's so great!!! yay for her!!

While there are quite a few neat oceaneums and tank attractions in Germany, I've never heard of them employing a mermaid.
Hopefully that changes![]()
