ahhh kalani those fluke-tips and dorsal fin make me so impatient to start sculpting my own tail >_< or to just sell my soul to commission raven :')

cause until we sell this house and move into a new one:

- No tail construction

- Not allowed to adopt a new rescue kitty (mine had to be put down in october)

so to summarise: asdfghjkl;' *dies* raven needs to stop being so bloody talented, she makes my bank account weep lol

Ariel, even my full silicone tail pulls apart at the upper thigh. It's concerned me for a while, I think (underscore THINK) it may be because the silicone is being stretched a bit too much and the thinner spots tend to tear. What to do about it, I'm not sure. But you're definitely not the only one this happens to. Raina, what do you use to add more silicone?

I just got more silicone, you can get sample sizes from smoothon. And put it on the inside of the tail where it's wearing. But Thalassa you should chat with Raven she's always telling me how she wants to redo your tail like she redid mine, and yours was one of the firsts too!

Raina, do you just put it right on the inside? And I guess without any pigment or anything either?

Also...I don't think Thalassa's was one of the firsts. I mean kind of early on but maybe it was. I suppose only Raven's FB or Thalassa will tell though. Except mobile, so maybe tomorrow I'll look. :P

Yip inside no pigment needed and yeah I think thalassas was one of the first full silicone tails. There was mine. The pink one. A few basics. The German gold one and then hers. My tail is over 2 but I will have had it 2 years next month!

Oh, really? I had no idea mine was so early on! To make it clear, I honestly think the issues my tail has are because I ordered it a tad small. Raven has been WONDERFUL and is actually fixing my poor baby up as we "speak."

I'm really excited! For my birthday my parents have me the money for an octopus top! I asked Raven if I could add it to my tail order and she said we certainly could she is such a sweetheart yay!

I hope in the near future when I get/make my silicone tail I can get an octopus top which I have just drawn out and had already picked the octopus to design it after. How long does it take Raven to complete the octotops? Here's my drawing and real octopus. (Ps, please don't steal the beauty, hoping to get it soon��)

Wow I almost picked that octopus I'm so glad I picked the one I did instead!! I'm not sure how long it has taken others to get theirs but I will try to time it and see how long it takes I'm sure it differs depending on how busy she is if she has all of the materials or has to wait for them and when she ships out orders (I'm pretty sure she does that in groups). I hope you can get your top soon!
