Personally, I love sea food. Being from a fisherman family does that :P
But I like to think, that just like humans, mermaids can choose what they eat. They can be omnivores or carnivores or vegetarians; and really, just like it should be in the human world, no one can be judged by what they choose to consume. I guess my impression of the mer world is one not dissimilar to our own.

Whenever we go to a buffet, we just pig out on the seafood! Who cares about roast duck and fancy spaghetti when you could be nomming on giant prawns and stir fried mussels in shells!

I've seen a couple people mention cake and cupcakes....just throwing it out there, you can have these things as a vegan too, but as a mermaid that might be tricky, lol. Maybe make some friends with human folk and entice them into giving you cake, lol.

I wonder if you can eat cheesecake underwater.... It seems to have a more durable consistency compared to regular cake, so it might be able to make it underwater without falling apart. I'm just not sure it would taste so great with the salt getting all over it...

lol I was thinking more like sitting on the shore or rock or something and eat it. I love food, and could imagine if I were a real mermaid I'd get myself into trouble trying to get humans to bring me delicious land food, lol

Have a sign next to your fave rock, "Feed mermaid here"

Then when they do, you can be a wild mermaid and try to bite their fingers too! Eventually, you'll get someone throwing cake at you!

    How fun is that?

I love seafood and it's the majority of my diet. I generously include seaplants as well as crustaceans and fish. I gather much of my seafood myself through spearfishing, raking for clams and diving for scallops and lobsters. Though I see many variations of sea plants, I have yet to harvest though I do hope to begin so this year (I purchase a variety of my sea plants at Maine Coast Sea Vegetables). By gathering the seafoods myself, I am able to maintain freshness and sustainability as well as personal fulfillment. I like to think that merfolks would do the same!

I do have to say I HATE fishing with hooks. I was hooked in the lip once, not pleasant.
This is kind of funny though misguided. Would prefer seeing the messages of harvesting sustainability as well as introductions of sea vegetables into mainstream diets.

Sea animals are cute and delicious. I eat just about everything in the ocean, I have some pictures of various seaweeds and invertebrates I collect for food on my Instagram.

@Hawaiianmerman if anyone is interested, I'd love to follow more mers. I love the mer feed popups!

I really like to eat delicious food and eat a lot, but because of this, my digestion often suffers. Well, I try to limit myself in some ways and choose healthier alternatives, but it’s still difficult to do without nutritional supplements like Gundry MD Bio Complete 3. By the way, I chose this particular nutritional supplement after reading many positive reviews on the website https://www.gundrymdbiocomplete3.com/reviews. I think that this is always a good way to find what suits you.
