Mer YouTube Collab Channel

If I were to start a Merman/Mermaid Collab channel on YouTube to get the Mer word to the world, who would be interested in doing 1 video a day per week?

Like for example:

Monday: Raina
Tuesday: Iona
Wed:Me

Etc,. etc,.

I would love to see something like that, and theres so many merfolks on here- there will always be something or someone to meet/learn about /see (Mer-TV)

Ahh that sounds like a great idea! I'd love to be involved, although whether people would want to hear me ramble on once a week I'm not so sure.... Maybe we could have some regular contributors and other people can just send in videos when they have them... or something?

I like the idea, it would be cool to have some collab videos! when I go to Florida Im planning on taking as many as I can, Im not really happy with any of my videos because I've been so limited. But now I have a better camera and *gasp* somewhere warm to go lol

I think that sounds like a great idea! It'd be like having MerNetwork TV! I think having one video per day is a bit too much. I think we'd run out of things to talk about, people to do it (life gets in the way- I learned this with podcasters), and people might not want to watch a new video every day. I think once a week is a more realistic expectation. I think a good thing to do would be to have ideas for videos lined up in advance, and have a backlog of a few videos for when we start so to make sure it gets a good solid kick off.

I think one video per week should be standard. Any more than that that get submitted can be scheduled to "air" so there is only one released every day. If you still want a multi mer collaborative without having to wait weeks and weeks, what we can do is have people film clips and then edit them together like a TV show. That way we won't be pressured to have a lot to talk about per clip if topics become slim, and it will keep things livelier. If clips are long we can always have "parts" to each "episode" as needed. Movies can range from talking about mer community news, to how to's, reviews, opinions, personal mermaiding experiences, ect ect.
