@Mermaid Claudia - They really are cute aren't they? I'm getting one soon as the new sizes come in. I love that shape, haven't seen one in a similar shape in another brand.

Haha thanks. I know I need to work on my technique tho. I can't do any tricks. XP So many of the oceanika vids on youtube are of kids tho and you don't really get to see how pretty it moves in the water. I wanted this monofin because of the shape but as soon as I saw it move in the water I was like "OMG! THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS ONE" lol so I figured other people should see it too.

After seeing Coyote's video I really need to go swimming in mine. Arghh. Tomorrow. I will somehow get to the pool tomorrow.

Haha, did you get the socks for yours? Does it feel better? I think I'm going to order some finis swim socks that are just bathing suit material...the neoprene socks were too thick.

    Oceanika

Yes I did, and they are helping a bunch.

The finis socks work pretty well for my friend who is on swim team.

I went swimming in my merfin, and oh my goodness it is such a dream to swim in. Waay faster then the monofin in my magictail. Definitely making a tail for this baby.

    Edit: Sorry for double posting.

I wonder what kind of power you can get out of the MerFin without the V cut into it...

@ CoyoteWalker, such a cool video, you can really see the pretty flow of the fin ! It looks like you can get quite some propulsion out of it even though it's made of rubber. I can't wait for mine to arrive, but shipping to Europe takes a while

Can someone give me dimensions of the large? I'll upload an image in a second with the dimensions I'm looking for...

I know its a lot, but I'd really appreciate it. I'm making a skin to use for a dry performance and I'd eventually like to get a Merfin but for the performance I was just thinking about using a cardboard cutout.

Other option is if you could just give me the overall height and width (1&2 in the image) I could just have it printed to scale and use the picture as my actual template for a pattern.

I have the medium otherwise I would get you the measurements! D:

I found a site that supposedly has the dimensions... Coyote, I'm just wondering if you'd check the with and length against your medium. The site claims the medium is 27.4 inches by 29.5 inches. If it is correct I'm going to assume that the dimensions of the large are also correct and I'll just have a picture of the fins printed to scale.

Do you still need someone to do it? I can if you like. That is if I can find something to measure with.
