Was it okay IN the water then? I thought you meant it was heavy while swimming, like dragging you down. Did you just mean on land?

In the water it was good. But when I was holding onto the edge of the pool I couldn't lift the fluke out of the water like I can with just the monofin.

Oh, yeah, they do cause some drag. Silicone ones are even worse.

I have been riding horses since early May, and have had 14 lessons so far. My instructor says that I may be allowed to enter into a horse show in late fall. It's really awesome to see how in the past year, I have gone from depressed due to family stresses, and school, and such, but hiding it. To losing my father in a terrible accident, to where I am now. Moms going to be sobering up hopefully, and I'm pretty happy about that.

I mean life has changed so much. I am finally reaching dreams I didn't quite think would be possible. I'm even getting my first silicone tail from Jazz eventually~ Also plan on ordering something from Nerine, and working on my new tops.
I'm even reconnecting with family and such, and pretty happy ^_^

Glad things are going so well! I love riding horses. I do hunter jumper and eventing. Horses are my OTHER expensive hobby besides mermaiding and scuba diving.

You know, I am usually only a semi-fan of H20 (it's a little bit too kid TV for me sometimes), but when you're feeling tired and down, those happy go lucky, always end well little stories can really brighten up your day. Feeling so much happier after watching a few swims!

i am so happy about my second mermaid tail and how its coming along. i was doubting myself the whole time. it is coming out great . i cant wait to swim in it. :}

The director of the pools at the gym I belong to emailed me back and told me that my monofin is allowed!!! *happy dance* No more invading friend's pools!
