I'm happy that my boyfriend was able to make my daughter's fifth birthday very special with a trip to Disneyland. I never could have afforded it.

I'm recovering from surgery and my boyfriend's work schedule hasn't allowed him to be able to visit yet. (14 hour military days) I told him he could make it up with flowers half jokingly. He responded asking what my second favorite flower was and I asked, why not my first? He said its so that we don't associate it with post-surgery pain.

He's such a sweetie.

So despite having to get out of the water because of cold water cramps I'm very proud of myself. I swam nearly 2 miles in my tail today. Minus the floating breaks I may have only swam about a mile and a half I'd it but still. I'm proud of myself. I still haven't swam under the water because the chlorine kills my eyes but I'm darn good at surface swimming.

But anyway, for now I finally have a bike again and I went out into the woods and biked along the trails for the first time in years and years. And I'm going to get to do so much more of it all the time as well. Yay!

As a kid I rode my bike everywhere! Of course that was when I lived in a small country town and it was safe. Noe I live in the city. I would possibly bike again if I had a riding buddy but I don't.

seanny just got a transmitter so I can use a keyboard with my phone or laptop yay. If you havent noticed my typing has been awful. My laptop has been away since March. ugh. been one finger typing lol. But not for much longer yay

So this week I've gotten all sorts of progress pictures on my tail from Morticia, as well as progress pics from the amazing dry-use leather+scalemaille mermaid bracers I'm getting in a trade from a friend of mine, and I'm just so giddy with excitement about everything! <3

Plus it turns out that one of my old pen-pals who I've known since I was, like, 11, got married today! My Facebook feed has been blowing up with pictures of her and her new husband and she looks so beautiful, and so happy... And seeing her so happy on her big day actually really cheered me up after my own not-so-great day. I just really, really love weddings! ;w; I've been planning mine for as long as I can remember. There is still a bit of soreness in it for me, I guess, since a few years ago I was engaged and in a really abusive relationship, but even still, I can't really help dreaming about my own wedding-- especially around this time of year when all of my other friends are getting married!

God I'm just so happy and fluttery right now I could almost cry. I'm gonna go stare at wedding dresses for a while!

Probably going to take a trip to the ocean today. I won't be able to swim due to still healing from surgery but I'll be able to get in up to at least my thighs if it's warm enough.
