    Redgranite Quarry Cleanup

    Anyone interested in attending? A local dive shop is holding a cleanup starting at 10 AM Sept 13th. Last year netted over 200+ lbs of trash.

    I can bring wetsuit jackets, masks and snorkels if needed. Freshwater jellyfish should be out and about. (they don't sting!)

    Time's running out! The quarry is just off HWY 21 in Redgranite. I usually park on the southeast side behind the old pickel factory. The dive shop event is on the west side. Bet the divers would freak if they ran into a bunch of mermaids! But anyhow we have a summer's worth of trash to clean out of the quarry.
