Good lord finfolk does beautiful work. I just stalk this thread when I don't have enough tail envy going on.
Effortlessly, until I stop LOL. It sinks me oddly enough, when I try to float/go static
im quite the dramatic so i couldnt of just made it easy on myself and just upload a short clip of me swimming , i had to take like 20 min of swimming video ( most i had to discard cause it took so long to get semi used to the heavier monofin ) and then edit almost everything out , other then that, the first swim was an overall success, if 12 pounds was pretty heavy on me , id be afraid to know what it be like at my current strength to swim in full silicone

This is my first prototype of mermaid tail. Not perfect. Monofin very bad (handmade) and bad painting. (2010)
My second prototype. Best, but monofin not good. (2012-2013)
And my latest prototype mermaid tail ^^ Best ^^ I love the monofin. I make this video in july 2014 ^^ This mermaid tail glow in the dark ^^
Now i'creating, my official mermaid tail for professionnal performance. It will differente my prototypes. ^^

So good news, bad news; my regular black tail got dolled up with some sheer green fabric. Buut when I went to test it out my tail was a little.looser than before. So more modifications needed but it's a good thing.
