So back from the larp, it was brilliant. I monstered and been enemies to the players, was a Djinn for the last part of the locket plot line.

My happy is- we got a place. My boyfriend and I found a duplex to move into. While I will have to move away from the waterline, I will still be in a beach town- just a different one, two beaches north of where I am now. When my minimer is in a wheelchair, I can get her in and out of the place easily. It barely has a step up from sidewalk to door. It's a huge relief. He's already paid the deposit and partial rent, and getting Internet and such turned on.

I'm very excited too to be moving in with my boyfriend. We celebrated a year together recently, and he's the best man I've ever known.

Double post for two reasons:
1. One of my best friends is going to have a baby! YAY!
2. The sea lion that hung out downstairs all September and October is back, and I can hear him or her barking. It's the best. <3 And the waves sound incredible today. Feeds my heart and soul.

Went to the pool this morning for a free test of swimming and it was so much fun, and the trainer told me that monofins are allowed!
I can't wait to take other swimming lessons!

I've been arranging musical compositions for a while now, including some that have been performed by choral groups, but last night I finished my first original composition! Definitely proud of how it turned out. Hopefully it gets recorded soon so I can share it with you all. <3 It's called The Siren's Lullaby, and is an eerie five-part piece that might even make it into a short film if it fits the feel.

I've been researching on how to make various dresses from history. I'm planning on getting started and getting the needed supplies to start I'm incredibly nervous about making it but excited too.

I'm so happy I just got to teach my daughter about the Great Barrier Reef in her homeschool kindergarten History class. We're going over the continents, and Australia's GBR has been the most fun... all the marine life I got to show her on videos and talk about!

For my birthday we went to a large aquarium in Denmark, it was soooo pretty there.
They had all kinds of fish and shark, and puffins<3

I got this quirky fellow on film, he was swimming around and around like this for ages!

Going to be bouncing around a theme park tomorrow night for their Halloween event (Knotts 'Scary' Farm) I am SO jazzed for it! My friends ducked out on me so Ill be spending part of it walking around by myself but thats no big deal.

Some nifty news to share! I'm being paid (well) & flown to Chicago for Halloween to be the magical mermaid in the (heated) pool on top of a skyscraper for a *super swanky* private Halloween party! No, I can't tell you who it's for but I promise I will share what I can when I can! I leave Thursday the 30th at night and come back that Saturday morning!

Excited because half november I'm teaming up with merman Arion! He'll be visiting the Netherlands and we'll swim together and get some nice photo's. Can't wait to meet him irl.

Got our first paid birthday gig set for tomorrow! (: Two mermaids and tons of fun. Also got a charity event at an aquarium coming up, and possibly found a donor to give us an old dunk tank to raise money at future festival events! So far it's been a good past two weeks.

Lots of things to be happy about for me, but this Friday, I'm going to check out the aquatic center across from where I live. They have lap pools, diving boards, and a lazy river. I don't know if they allow fins (I don't have one at the moment, but will be asking for a Mahina for christmas!), but I haven't been swimming in so long! I don't like chlorine, but I don't have an ocean so I'll have to deal.
