That awkward moment when your boyfriend comes home from work for his lunch break and walks into the bathroom to find you lying in the bathtub with a blanket wrapped around your legs and playing ocean sounds on your phone and you have literally no idea how to explain yourself as he just quietly backs out of the room and closes the door...

This happened a few years back in like 2006 when the little mermaid got a DVD re-release with a special sneak of TLM3 that hadn't come out yet: "TAMW when you're in Walmart with your stepfather and across the way you see a television screen playing a Little Mermaid scene you've never seen before (it was the shake shake senora preview) and you have to conceal your excitement whilst trying to get your stepfather to walk in that direction discreetly because you know he will think your strange" :P I managed to get over there and had to glance out of the corner of my eye.

It was a good movie, though a bit cheesy as the only other kids shows I watch is Mako Mermaids.

Little kids think everyone is old. Once had a little guy ask me if I had any kids. I told him no. His response: "Are you suuuuure you don't have kids? Oh, wait, I know. They're probably in college already." I was 25 at the time.

I clicked on the link in your signature, Gen, and as I remembered the episode it took me waaaayy back...to when I, myself, was 25! I have found that, especially in the modern world, it works like this:

-Children idealize teenagers, in part because most of the fiction they consume is about empowered teens who lead extraordinary existences; often these take place in the magical world of High School.

- Teenagers are eager to enter the 'real world' and thus fulfill all their burgeoning hopes and dreams which must remain entirely unrealized en ce moment; after all, who would wish to dwell in the socially-awkward confines of dreary High School?

- Twenty-somethings question their direction and the speed of that direction. Should I really be in university/college when internet enterpreneurs seem more successful than any graduate? Is what I thought I wanted as a teenager really viable, or even really what I wanted? Do I really have any business even thinking about marriage if I haven't the means to comfortably support a family? Does anyone even get permanently married anymore? I wish I could go back to being a teen and do it right this time; can't we just declare 30 the new 20?

- Thirty-something is where I'm at right now, and to be as succinct as possible I would say that we would be a lot happier if we weren't constantly bombarded with a media that assured us that we are well past our prime.

Does anyone my elder dare to add more?
