Tieri, I LOVE Maui's dolphins as well! They're simply precious! Would you be getting the tail made with the traditional scales, or opting for smooth silicone? I saw that one of the smaller tailmakers does shark/whale-like "smooth" tails, and Raven would probably be able to as well...

Its based off a blue marlin and they do have unusual but cool pectoral fins.

I think I, at long last, have my design down and with painting starting this weekend, I'm ready to post this! ^^ So excited to see it come to life. Really nervous at the same time though.

I'm a vietnamese person. i probably might decide on having an irrawaddy dolphin tail because that was the specific type of dolphin that my dad encountered. any of the surrounding fish in the area like Nha Trang or Bac Lieu.
By blood, I'm also chinese. so...(bleh, going with the cliche here) i also kind of want a koi fish or gold fish tail... but there's like so many type of goldfish o-o and they're all so pretty...
I'm also canadian and i live right by lake ontario AND surrounding marshes and ponds... so i kinda want to be a lake/pond mermaid as well but i don't know of any living thing living in said ponds or lakes .__.
BAH. i'm stuck.

Does anyone own a pink and lime green tail? Or orange and neon green tail?

not my best work, but it will pass as my first design idea! I spent maybe 2 hours on this...very tired... and photobucked sort of washed out my colors but this is the general idea
The design for the silicone tail I'm tentatively going to make.still need to figure out the fluke and will probably tweak the colors but I like the basic overall look.
