That awesome moment when you find out one of your dad's childhood friends played a lost boy in Hook, and your mom's high school friend (who she is still friends with now) was one of the main guy characters in Charmed.. not sure what his name is but he played a character called "the white light" or something like that lol

Kinda along those lines, my uncle told me two of his aunts were professional mermaids in their 20s! He may have married into the family but I like to think mermaiding is in my blood.

My happiness came from us talking about our goals for 2014 and how we did and I realized that everything that I had set a dream for I did, have a good workout schedule, have consistent mermaid gigs, spin fire poi, and do a super cool mermaid thing. I've toned up a lot, I got to spin fire poi (I've done fire staff a few times now) last night, mermaiding is going swell, and I got to help edit Raina's book. I'm so happy about this year and am stoked for 2015 and all the awesomeness that's gonna come along with it, that and we are moving to Gemany in Oct so for that I'm stoked.

My mom was talking to a friend from high school who happens to be the director of the aquatic center at the high school I graduated from. He was really into my best friend and I starting and mermaiding party business. He gave us all sort of information on cost of renting the huge pool, cost of hiring lifeguards, etc. My mom is actually on board with Molly and I starting a business over the summer!!! *SCREAMING* I also started sewing a sequin top and it's turning on fantastically!!

Im a lifeguard! Oh wait Indiana is a bit far from NE Iowa.

I can finally start talking about this! I've been 'appearing' on a blogtalk radio show for a few years now as Cassandra the Celtic Psychic and just recently the host, Rubbie, asked me to co-host with her! I said yes and I start this coming Saturday!
She just showed me the new show ad banner and she made me a mermaid doing tarot, it's so cute

I seriously tried to 'like' your post, Phaylenn. lol Too much FB. But that's exciting! Happy for you.

My happy is that my daughter, while still unable to walk or to stand on her own, is scooting around all over the house on her bum, even crawled a little. She is trying to stand on her own because though she be but little, she is fierce! But she isn't quite there. She's doing really well though. Recovering faster than I thought she would.
