    Wanted! Any tail, budget 180$

I have looked through all the commercial websites, and none of the have what i search for,
so now I am turning my search on to you guys.

Do you have a mermaid tail in need of a new owner?
Or are you searching for a customer that are willing to give you (almost) free hands?

Then I am the (soon-to-be) Mer you may be looking for!

edit: Just wanted to add two things!
I already own a Finis Wave monofin.
Shipping is counted for in the budget.

I think there was an epic hot pink velvet tail for sale in this thread still... http://mernetwork.com/index/showthre...for-Sale-20-75

She does say it's very heavy, so it's better for experienced Mers.

I would say I would totally make you one, because I do have plans to make and sell "realistic" fabric tails; however, I would feel kind of bad offering to make yours before I've made my own to prove that I can make nice tails... I am rather experienced with sewing, but like I said, I haven't made my own tail yet (I'm in the process of making the monofin).

I'd totally offer you a tail, but, *cough* the new silicone-isc material is going through tests right now, and I hope it works out. And I've never sewn anything water safe yet, so... Yeah.

    Well, good luck!

How you looked at Fin Fun tails? You can get a monofin for $49, and a custom fabric skin for only $89. I figured out with shipping it only comes to $150-$160. Seems like the cheapest you can get for a brand new tail.

You can check out some fabric tails online. I'm sure you can find some in your price range.

Yes, I have looked at them. I have checked all the stores in the list you can find on this site.
I didn't like the look of the monofin, and the didn't want to make a fabric skin for the monofin I own. ):
Seems like a waste of money to buy another monofin, when I already paid 56$ for the one I have.

Which? As said before, I have tried to find someone that makes fabric tails for my monofin, but I had a hard time finding finding something that didn't cost a fortune to ship, didn't look like a childrens costume, or didn't force me to buy a whole new monofin.

I'm sorry if I sound rude, as english isn't my first language, it feels like my writing sound like that sometime.

Aquatails, MerMagica, 2Tails all make tails for your monofin. You do NOT have to purchase another monofin, just find the listings that say "tail skins" instead. If you have the Finis Wave, you should fit all those tails just fine (2Tails are cheap too! you might need to tell them to leave the shape of the skin alone though as they cut theirs)

As far as fabric tails, anything more than a MagicTail (custom monofin of their own, located in Europe) won't be much more realistic. You can paint your own tail yourself but few, if any paint a tail without including the monofin with it.

The Mermagica "Dragon" tail looks pretty neat

But yeah, really to get a very realistic fabric tail, you have to paint it, make it yourself, or pay a good amount of money to have someone do it for you it seems.

MerMagica recently had a few bad reviews so before you order from ANYWHERE, just be sure to read up on others' experiences.

Yep, a few days ago I was like "Yeaah, MerMagica is cheap and good, let's just check the reviews before I do something drastic"
    Will not order from them.

Hehe, true. AquaTails seems like they have absolutely great reviews though (albeit little to none :P) and imo their tails are some of my favorite fabric ones. I'd order from them if they offered MerFin skins! They have plenty of color choices, as well.
