Ran into an old friend at a cafe and it reminded me of the hilarious stories they used to share on their private IG page. I wanted to revisit those memories but the profile is still locked. Any chance you know an Instagram account viewer that could help me check it out again?

That's such a relatable feeling, running into someone and getting hit with that wave of nostalgia for their old posts. I totally get the urge! A similar thing happened with an old college buddy's account I wanted to show my partner. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if the profile is set to private, there isn't a tool that can legally or safely get around that. Those "private viewer" services are almost always scams that steal your info. For public profiles, a site like peek viewer is a great, simple way to browse without an account. But for a private one, your best and safest bet is probably just to send a follow request and maybe even message them saying it was great to see them! It could be a nice way to reconnect.
