Cholorine pool causing rashes?

Hey all just wondering does anyone else get rashes from the chlorine pools? I love swimming but each time I go I come out with rashes be it then or later even if I wash off in the showers after swimming.

Any recommendations on how I can help get rid of the rash quickly?? Also yes I am really allergic to chlorine pools I thought the last time was okay as the first time no reaction. Second time a rash and third time a rash.

However I don't want to stop going as I love swimming again and I do take natural supplements.

yes, I get rashes in pools all the time.
Even soaking before and after for half an hour doesn't help.

The more urine (=trichloramine, the harmful carcinogenic that forms when urine and dirt mix with chlorine), the worse the rash, and the faster it develops.

I avoid shallow, kid and fun pools like the plague.
You can also take iodine and kelp supplements, but if you want to be on the safe side, only a minimum chlorine or chlorine free pool is an option.

Thanks was in the big pool only here but up the shallow side as the deep end they always have stuff going on in like waterpolo etc. But there are always heaps of kids with there parents in there I personally can't pee in the pool and have to get out and go to the toliets lol but thanks for explaining makes sense maybe if I can i will try to stay in the less busy areas from now on!

This was a new one for me. I never had a rash from swimming before; and, the one time I swim for 3 hours I get a stomach rash that won't go away.
