    I can't tell you how many times I've come up with ideas for something, only to be beaten to the punch...some ideas I shelve, and some I intend to develop...seaweed, lily pads, starfish, etc...but I always want to put my own spin on things.

    I confess, some things I see and think 'I could do that' and make one for myself, and as an artist, I can see how others would try and do the same. I have no real problem with that. What chaps my ass is when someone blatantly takes someone else's idea to produce for resale.

    Totally agree with that! a simple 'inspired by' would be a nice too. Then at least you are giving credit to who/what inspired you.

    yup pearlie that's the issue I have

    ONe thing I'll say for Raven though is until like, this past month she would never post enough pictures. That big batch of top pictures? Some of those tops were a year or more older. she literally has bins and bins of product never seen, we talk about it a lot. Because she just isn't one for being online and finds it tedious and hard to get it all up there sometimes. Intimidating you know? You can often see most recent stuff on her instagram but she def back tracks and just because something is being posted doesnt mean that it's brand new. She's been working on that lionfish tail at least a year. I used to see the WIP when we skyped She has so many cool things you all havent seen yet you'll love so much when you do!
