XP he comes to help my dad with stuff, and I ride all sexy like on my big majestic horse and say "sorry fella, this is uncatchable" *cue horse rearing and galloping away like a total bad ass*
Tell me your secrets, sailor.. and I'll whisper mine in return.
I'd just come out and say it. you know? so 'hey I like you, do you like me or are you still seeing me as your student?'
Subtlety for women is like very discreet and about facial movements. Not all men are able to follow these kind of cues. Neon signs are sometimes the way to go

I have to agree with Elle here. Guys don't get subtle. It's so much easier to just outright tell him rather than dance around the issue playing games

See, if you know you're both on the same page, then you can play the games. But trying to start the games without knowing his position can make things difficult.

Take it from the gal who has been married 15 years in June. Ignore the shit out of him. It will make him crazy for you. It is an ego thing. Guys want what they can't have. Throw him a bone here and there like some flirty eyes but then yank it right back. Watch Gone with the Wind. Let Scarlet O'Hara be your spirit guide.
bahahahahahahahahahahaha. love it

If I were a guy, I'd be scared
But yep, none of the men I've met in my life got subtle hints. Ever.
For some, not even "leave me alone and go eff yourself" is enough, they still think you're into them...
Well I sent through facebook messenger, and I got a "seen" notification about an hour ago. But I've seen him look at a message, and think about what he's going to say in response, then message back. And I've seen him look at a message, but because he's busy, he waits to respond...sooooooo

Okay hooooold up. Woahhhh Nelly. If this guy was your teacher and seems to have some kind of friendship with your father, he probably doesn't want to be interested in you because, like Venessa said, it sounds like the beginning of a Dateline episode (even if he isn't much older than you).
Was he your high school teacher? I know that at my high school the AP Gov. teacher got in hot water for dating his ex-student even though she had graduated. They couldn't fire him, but oh lordy were there rumors.
What I'm trying to say is that he might very well think you're a QT3.14, but he may be hesitant to pursue anything with you because he'd be risking his friendship with your dad, his job, and his reputation. Sucks but that's life.

That's not a problem. I live in the south. Anything is acceptable once you're out of school. Plus my dad has been very blunt about how much he wants this man to be a part of the family.
