That's great! The only thing is, flights from the opposite side of Australia are in the $1000s, and I won't be able to get that kind of money in a year. I would really love to be able to go though that pool looks perfect for mermaids

If Perth is where you are from, then its not that much, they're about $800 return ish, even cheaper if you find a deal

Where I live it will probably be 400 returnish since to mackay is normally 550 return round abouts at least last time I traveled it was so perth shouldn't be too bad and that is 2 connecting flights in mine since I have to fly out from my regional airport

There is no requirements for attending. You just come along. It's not due to happen until January next year so you've got time to do what ever you want to do tail wise if you wanted to come with a tail

Elle is right, there's no requirement to attend. In saying that though, based on current wait times with the main silicone tail makers I think unless you ordered from MerNation or Mertailor you won't get it in time since both FinFolk and Merbellas wait times are about a year at the moment, assuming you got a slot right away.

Regardless if its tail or monofin, I'll still join. Mermaid Mahina has a good range of monofins that I would like to purchase now while I am waiting for my tail.

Her FB page says 200-300 days but you're almost certainly looking towards the later portion of that.
