Some pictures and clips from the second (and last) time I wore my tail.
I already got a fan
The tail gave me a lot of drag and was heavy to swim in. Lots of fluke, not so much propulsion. (I want to be perfect the first time I do something, it's dumb, I know)
When I turn at 01:00 you can see that the fluke bends very, very wrong.
OK, I can see the problems you mentioned, but WOW that tail is amazing to look at! Seriously, it looked like a silicone one at first (and I'm still not 100% sure it's not silicone)! The pattern is natural and beautiful, too!
