Yup. My tail is gorgeous, fits me perfectly, and I've had no issues with it stretching out or anything. If you have personal issues with Eric, you are allowed to not like him. But don't go bashing other mers' tails that you have no experience with. Very disappointing behavior.

A kid showed up at my school today with a BB gun and shot three other kids making them bleed and getting himself arrested. And considering the gang infested neighborhood my school is in, I am just glad it wasn't a real gun. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THIS SCHOOL YEAR IS OVER. MAKE IT COME FAST. PLEASE.

i feel ya. there was a rumor going around last week that there was going to be a shooting at our school's pep-rally (its mandatory to go) i was so close into skipping until the principle said on the loud speaker that it wasnt true and they caught the dude spreading the rumor. tbh idk if she was more angry about the thought of canceling the pep-rally or how it went viral on twitter

tbh i just want school to end. but i dont like the last few weeks because thats when the kids start setting stink bombs everywhere

Still no job, working on getting wifi so I can at least try to do things online to make money.

My dad was poking fun at me this morning (I paint little toy guns for fun... (I had a state trooper try to put me in cuffs because he thought my "Canine Cannon", repainted tennis ball cannon, was a real weapon)) saying that I could start "rummaging"? (Might be the word he used) through yardsales, and try to find old kids toys like picket ponies, and old plastic dollhouses that need new paint jobs, re paint them all after buying them for super cheap, then sell the repaired and repainted toys for a buck or two more.

I think it's a great idea and all, but I wish he would just make up his mind on whether I'm good enough to make stuff and sell it, or if I'm not good enough and suck?!?

So today, I found a post from a coworker that went along the lines of "I can't believe there are people out there that put on mermaid tails and swim in them as a past time. Sounds like some people need to get their priorities straight."

Then I promptly posted a pic of myself from the springs and said, "I'm one of them, and I find your comment offensive."

Alright, so I keep ALL of my co-workers in the dark about my mermaid life. And for a good reason. If any of them found out about it, they would judge me and harass me to no end, like they did when they found out that I was a cosplayer/crossplayer.

Some people have tiny, uninteresting lives and they try and fill it with things they can buy at the mall. They are all too afraid to deviate from what they think is 'normal'. Priorities? I have a full time job, a side business as a tailmaker, a loving beau, my bills are paid, my pets are taken care of, I'm close with my family who supports my wacky hobbies, and I'm happier than a speckled pup in a red wagon.

I'll bet those people who are judging your priorities have dvrs full of tv shows that are pretty high on their lists of important things to do.

Looking down on "nerds" (people who play challenging computer games), cosplayers (often gifted seamstresses and armormakers), freedivers (mermaids), while lolling around on their sofas, gaze glued to the TV for hours on end themselves.

Worst possible way to end a night is to get stuck in traffic only to find out some guy hit a deer which created said traffic. and then when you and your animal loving buddy are asking people to give the deer space and trying to call animal wildlife services in Vaughan, some old drunk fat douchebag who is so full of himself tells your friend to literally shut up and proceeds to try and act like a fucking white knight and touch her ear which freaks out the deer who is bleeding from the mouth and has her foot hanging from her leg and resulted her in forcing herself to get up and run back into the forest so she can get space. On top of which same douchebag said WE were the ones that hit the deer when WE (are you fucking stupid ?) are perfectly fine on the opposite side of the road and have no sustaining injuries or damages on the car! (Seriously did you not see the broken window of the driver a few meters down?)
But the worst part of it all was me standing there while she bled, while she laid on the opposite road scared and weak, while she exerted herself to try and get away from us, and me feeling so helpless and so useless for not punching the fuck out of the old bastard to try to keep him away because it would only spook and stress her out more.
Only running on 5 hours of sleep and it has traumatized and upset me so fucking much that I just don't want to get up today. I just want to lay in bed and keep crying and feeling regretful for leaving her alone in the forest at night.
Honestly I wanted to say something last night to everyone but I felt it wasn't the time.
If you are that douchebag who thinks you can go up to wildlife and not respect it's space, not to mention disrespect the people calling help and telling them to shut up, then you deserve to get hit and have someone poke at you while you're bleeding on the side of the road.

Oh my God, I'm crying now. I am extremely sensitive when it comes to animals, and this made me feel sick to my stomach. I hate how many people have such little respect for animals. They think they don't get scared or don't feel pain, so they think it's fine to poke at them while they're in pain.

I'm so sorry you had to witness something like that, and I understand how useless you felt. It's so heartbreaking. The road me and my dad drive on to his girlfriends house has trees along the side almost the entire way (about 50 miles) and whenever we go on that road, I see things at the side of the road, think they're roadkill, but then it just turns out to be rubbish or something. But one day, There was a dead fox on the side of the road, and I tried to hold in my tears until it hurt, but I then burst into tears for 30 minutes.

But that fucking asshole who scared the deer, FUCK HIM.

I cried myself to sleep last night.. Well this morning technically.
Deer happens to be one of my animal totems. I feel like I was meant to see it. We took a wrong turn on the road on our way back and then we decided to take the long way to her place and that's when we saw her. After that incident she ended up turning the car around and drove me home.
I contacted someone online after we tried calling last night. Hopefully someone from the conservation area sees her and rescues her. If she was a mother id hate for her children to be orphaned.
Thankfully the place has a rehab center in the area. If they can't save her I just hope they euthanize her so at least she doesn't have to suffer
