The "I just had a photo shoot!"/sharing photoshoots thread!

Yuba River, South fork. It's normally crowded with people, but we got lucky and the parking that was normally there was closed, so we parked on the street, hiked down, and had the whole place to ourselves. We would've swam underwater, but the water is snow run off and very cold.

I've camped and swam there, I love it! It's on my top 5 list of favorite places to swim, and I don't mind the cold water. I guess it's my Nordic blood

It's one of my favorites, too. The water is beautiful. There's been times that it has been easier for me to get in, but I really am a tropical fish. I get cold so easily, haha. :P Thank you!

Haha! Yeah it's pretty damn cold, especially after the first snow melt.
Even though I can dive right in, I can only be in it for 45 min to 1 hr at a time. Then I need to flop onto a rock and reheat myself like a lizard before jumping back in

Wetplate photography. No photoshop except for the logo. The camera used was from around 1850. So awesome! Had to sit perfectly still for 6 seconds.

OMG Crystal Shimmer, I love the wetplates! I'm super impressed to see them done in a tail, it's hard posing for them in general, but in like a 13kg tail, holding absolutely still for it, that's really cool!

Hey Mizuko! I don't know if you've ever been to Townsville or heard about Crystal Creek. But I live up here and we have this creek "Crystal Creek" and its the most beautiful clear spot, really huge and there are no crocodiles! So if you ever want to do a river or creek shoot you can always come up here for a visit

That wetplate photography is amazing I am in a history of photography class this summer and I just learned of some interesting early photography today.

Thanks! They were originally heel fins for the tail to go near the secondary dorsal, but I decided it would look too crowded. I really like how some of the silicone tops that have fins look, so I decided to try it out
