I want to scream. My father was supportive of my mermaiding, but he lived in a poor area for entertaining and such. My mother and brother said they were supportive. Said they would help with my business.

But no. Getting them to go out with me is like pulling freaking teeth! I need someone to take the camera and give out cards. I need someone to help me around in the wheelchair. I explained all this before I moved. Now they won't do anything. And my mother is the f-ing worst. Constantly putting me down and being passive-aggressive about everything. F you! I thought you were okay with this! You said you would help! I told them they would be paid for the help.

I'm going to tear my hair out. I hate her. I hate her. I knew I hated her. Why did I move back? Ugh. Mermaiding was supposed to help me with the extra cash so I could move in August. I don't know if I want to scream or just cry.

I don't know who to turn to for mer tending help.

That sucks, do you have any friends near by? or any other relatives? Maybe you can join the party princess group on facebook and see if you can land a mertender? or hold auditions for your mertender like a princess company would for a princess?

My issue at the moment is that everything I'm doing right now are just for exposure. No paying gigs quite yet as no one knows about me. That's why it is so crucial for me to get out there and have them pass out cards. I only have one video right now on my site, and I need more. *sigh* I'm working on my tail and top making at the moment as that is my main income until I can get more gigs.

I had a better day today.
I just got back from the Griffith Park Zoo which closed down in 1966 (opened in 1912) and it's the second zoo ever in LA. Opened with a grand total of 15 animals (the zoo I work at has over 600!) which were all from Hollywood.

The bitch-in-law has been telling my poor sister-in-law (who just gave birth to a beautiful girl) not to eat any fruits post childbirth. instead she's giving her watered down soup. what the fuck woman. GIVE HER THE DAMN FRUITS. she need nutrients.
also, she has been pinching my newborn nieces nose so she could have a high nose. WHAT THE FUCK. ALL BABIES NOSES ARE FLAT WHEN THEY COME OUT. THEY HAVEN'T FINISHED DEVELOPING YET. they've made it specifically clear not to do that and she disrespects their wishes.

I am terrified of her because she doesn't respect anyone. at all.

So, my best friend, she is so smart and is very knowledgeable and travels a lot all over Europe because her boyfriend is from Germany, and together they make a crazy smart couple amd when im around her, i feel like my life completely pales in comparison and i feel so inferior and stupid. Like i am not smart enough to be around them. They dont give that impression but that's just my internal lack of confidence. It makes me feel like i am stupid for not attending college as if im not good enough. Not only that, but i dont have many friends and i keep to myself veey much so im awkward around people and stick my butt in my mouth a lot around strangers.
I was talking to this guy and he got up and walked away mid sentence. *face palm*
And her boyfriend is super nice and he has a natural gift with animals. Which makes me feel even more lame.
My husband always says he never sees me the way i see me, but i think thats natural.

Seems my nephew has been listening to his Dad (my brother)... As I walked them home today, he told his little sister, "Aunty just does random courses. That's why she doesn't have a job." What a rude little twat! He then had the gumption to say, "Well that's what you're always telling us" I told him he was very rude and that I'm always encouraging them to explore and learn things. The way he said that, it really hurt my feelings. My nephew does not think before he talks, the things he says are very hurtful sometimes. I know he's just a kid at 9yrs and family too... I've stopped engaging him in conversations too recently as he is very very aggro when talking to me and other people.

Asking him to answer the door one day, because my hands was dirty, he threw down his headphones in anger and stomped to the door. I blame it on too much computer. In Easter holidays, just gone, he spent the whole two weeks on the sofa playing Minecraft and watching people play games on youtube. I have offered to take them to the pool or other outings, none of the kids are interested. All they want to do is stare at the pc screen all day. I've met their friends and even the kids at the pool, they seem more worldly and street smart than these two!

there are a lot of kids that are addicted to the computer. The kids that are out and about are usually more worldly and street smart and sociable. sad that the world is like this.

I am so glad that the concrete zoo is closed. It broke my heart when I saw the photos several posts up. No grass, no shade, nothing natural about it.

it is one of the oldest, and it's clearly been closed for a while. still I agree, it's just a bunch of rocks. there may have been some plants or something back in its time but they're long gone now.
