I am so glad it's Friday!! I (mistakenly) accepted a job to substitute on the last instructional day of school. The freshman students in my classes were great today. They completed their work and turned in their assignments before the end of class. The seniors in the hallway, on the other hand, were out of control! I had to turn around and snap at them, because they were crowding and pushing people on the staircase, along with dumping cups of water down the stairs. :/ Unfortunately there were too many of them and only one of me, so I couldn't just take down names and send them to their dean's office. Never. Again. At least not at that school. I'll be "busy" next year....

I've been feeling sick the last couple of days, and while it's only a cold it's really gotten me down. I don't feel like going out to apply for jobs, I missed a friend's birthday party last night and a university open day this morning (which was meant to help me figure out what the heck I want to study, after 6 years out of school) and to top it off, my boyfriend's honours thesis is due next week so if I give this cold to him it'll make the next week so much more stressful for him. I just want to sleep for a fortnight straight

So idiot me decided to try and climb the rope at the gym. I did it! But I got serious rope burn on the top of my foot. Dx Then I went swimming with a monofin and/or tail two days in a row. So my foot became even worse! Pretty sure it nearly got infected too...but I caught it in time. So I learned my lesson and now I'm trying to stay out of the water until it heals. But I need to swim so bad!

So with all the cinderella hype dying down I thought I'd hear the end of "Her waist is unnatural! No one can have a waist that small!" or seeing those terribly photoshopped photos making her waist small, boy was I wrong. I was wearing a crop top and a high waist skirt to go to the movies for my birthday with my boyfriend last monday and an old lady and her daughter came up to me and asked what my waist size was because she said I looked tiny. I told her it was 24 inches and then she starts going on to ask me about if I was starving myself, or if I saw the "horrible" cinderella junk and wanted a waist like that and started to eat nothing but soup. Then her daughter proceeded to go on about how unnatural it looks, and wondered why I was starving myself for something that doesn't happen in nature. Plot twist douche bags- 24 inches is my natural waist size. (actually 23, but I gained the freshman 15 at college lol). Just because YOU don't have a small waist doesn't mean it doesn't happen naturally and I don't appreciate being called a freak of nature or people claiming that I'm starving myself. I was feeling so cute and was feeling amazing that day, I got to see my boyfriend, he was going to take me to build-a-bear, I got out of the house, I got compliments on my hair and shirt, then one interaction just ruined my whole day.
