    Hello from the Lunocet!

    Hello all,

I wanted to formally introduce myself. My name is Jeff and I operate UltimateSwimFin.com which is the exclusive retailer of the Lunocet monofin.

I am a trained / competitive Freediver myself and LOVE "dolphin kicking" and swimming with a monofin.

I actually was instrumental in the design of the current 2015 Lunocet Pro and it is by far my favorite monofin. So much so, that I decided to take my passion for it and start selling them, taking over the customer service and marketing from the product inventor.

It is easy to get behind a product that you are passionate about.

I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

I am more than happy to answer any questions about the product, or any freediving / breathhold questions or technique tips.

I will also put a $50 off coupon code here for the first 5 mer-people that buy a Lunocet from this awesome community. Enter "INTRO2MERNETWORK" at checkout for your $50 savings!

    See you in the blue!

    Jeff

Welcome to the Waters Jeff! Sounds like you'd make an AWESOME Merman since you're 90% there already! Very nice offer with the Lunocet too. Can't wait to check it out.

    Hello from the Lunocet!

    Thanks for an awesome welcome!!

I'm up for any game in town as long as it's underwater and in apnea.

I play UWR, UWH, competitive freediving, recreational freediving, pools, open-water, UNDER ICE, underwater photography and I'll even go down and source myself some dinner from time-to-time.

My husband wants one so bad. Unfortunately, even with the discount code it's still too expensive for us.

Thanks for the note Jeff and welcome. I'll check your site out.

One thing that I think a LOT of mers would benefit from is a proper neck weight - usually between 4 and 7 lbs, depending on your size, body composition and lung capacity.

Makes a WORLD of difference to me.

There is some technique in figuring out how much you should use, but once setup, is incredible.

I even have an idea for mermaids of using large lead fishing weights (round or oval) and coating / painting them white to look like pearls.

Welcome! I've been very interested in the fin for a while now--what an awesome, innovative design. I've always wanted an extended tail like that, congrats on the successful design.

Hey Jeff, if you jumped into the Tail Swimming forum with your Pearl weights more people will see it.
Most Merfolk won't think to look here for innovative ideas.
    Cool thought though.

    Thank you!

Two of the elements that make it so versatile to me are the comfort and ease of travel!

These 2 things allow you to swim comfortably for hours on end (NO better way to work on your technique and breathhold than repetition and practice!) and also to take it away with you on vacation... Even as carry-on!

It's also pool friendly and draws a LOT of attention from bystanders.

Arrive at the water early to answer questions and be prepared to stay a bit later as well., just to be able to get your own personal time in.

I guess if you needed more weight, you could just use another string of "pearls"!
