If it makes you feel better, I failed 3x in a row. Took me a year to work up the courage to try again! But 25 years later I've still got a stellar driving record!

my friend failed her permit test 3 times in a row. I don't even have my permit, I'm trying to race my boyfriend to a license but I haven't even started drivers ed yet. my dad doesn't think I can do it, but he's gotten into like 2 car accidents since I was born so I don't really care about his opinion.

So I'm super pissed off. My friend who moved away last year is visiting for 2 weeks. She is staying at my house this week and another friend's next week. She basically expects me to chauffeur her around because she didn't rent a car or anything. I have a job and graduation, as well as other stuff this week. I can't be there for whatever she wants. She doesn't have anything planned and just wants to party and socialize. I'm not like that at all. She doesn't like my dog either and I adore him to death. I'm just stressing out so much and she's being inconsiderate and making everything difficult.
Ouch, Maisy. I personally don't like making solid plans either, but her thoughtlessness in regards to you is NOT okay. She should at least figure out public transportation or ask the friends she's going out with for rides. And as a guest in your home she should at least be polite to and about the dog.*sigh*
I live like half an hour from the nearest bus stop:/. Oh and the other friend whose house she is staying at next week is also tired of her already. Now there's drama. I really don't want to be involved.
*wince*
Good luck.
This is funny, but not. It stems from annoyance, but... well, just read:
So, I find this situation a little amusing. I work in a facility for persons with mental illness (the whole enchilada; not just one type.) At the moment we have some persons who have a hard time managing their cleanliness. When I see them begin to pass by my desk, I take in a breath and wait for them to be weeeeeeeelllllll past before I breath out again. At first I was a little annoyed (but understanding of their situation and the other issues they were dealing with) but now I treat it as mermaid training. I am hoping to be back up to a minute in my breath holding soon.![]()

I can relate! When i was visiting my mom, there was a man in her town who had his own cloud. Every time we were about to pass him on the street she would widow whisper "big breath!" and we would all hold it until he passed by. I tired to be the one who held the longest xD
