I have a lot of anxiety and it has at times caused my heart rate to be too high, and I was taught to slow my breathing and concentrate on that. I don't know if it will help you because your heart rate is caused by a chemical reaction, but it's worth a shot. Try taking very slow breaths and focusing only on the in and out of your air, the inflation and deflation of your lungs. Like the start of meditation, if you've ever tried that.

ThanksI've been doing that, I guess with the medicine, waiting it out will be one of the only things to help- I've also had anxiety troubles in the last few years, but those have settled down. My dad has heart problems ( faulty valve, but was helped through surgery last year) and after I had a friend of mine (younger than me) die from heart failure, I freaked myself out that because my dad has issues, I could too, and stressed myself over stupid stuff that wasn't even wrong with me. Anyway, since the cardiac specialist said there was nothing to worry about, and my heart's perfectly fine at the moment, I've not had another panic attack
I get what you're going through Mermaid Gosalyn we're all here to help *hugs*

Several people in my family use CPAP (Continuous positive airway pressure) machines to help them breath while they sleep. I don't know much about them though.
There are also anti-anxiety medications that could just help calm your heart (Ativan is what I use, but I would talk to a doctor about it) But I don't know how that would react to what you are already using.
Or if you don't want to add any more medication/machines into your life there is always meditation. Just take slow deep breathes and tighten your solar plexus. Imagine you are on a beach, or at your favorite place in the world. Narrate to yourself a story of a calming situation.
Writing in a journal right before bed can also be helpful.
That's all I can think of right now.
Does it count as a health problem that I got stabbed in the foot two days ago? I've been having to miss work (thankfully with a doctor's note) and miss out on tail work. I finally got back to tails today, but I still can't walk well enough to work as a waitress.
still counts.
also.. how the fuck did that happen??? o-o

I was closing the garage (I have to do it manually because we disabled the electronics) and there was a trough (a really pointy rake) on the ground that I backed into. If I stop whacking it on things, I should be able to go back to my real job on Sunday.
Sometimes anxiety disorders are manageable. Sometimes they REALLY suck. Badly.

Any tips of tooth sensitivity on a tooth that's not there?
I finally got health insurance! Yay! (Say what you will about Obama but I'm thankful) and went to the dentist for mouth aches that I'd had for years. Had about nine cavities and one exposed nerve. Got the cavities filled and the exposed nerve tooth pulled....but my mouth still feels like there's a raw nerve dangling out. I went back to a different dentist sure that he'd pulled the wrong tooth only to have my second opinion not have a clue as to what was wrong. I've got to wait until next month to go back to the dentist (certain amount of dental allotted and I used it all up) but I've been dealing with this for months and honestly my mouth hurt less before all this because that nerve was being "protected" by a calcium build up.it hurts to brush my teeth so now the tooth behind the one I got pulled is beginning to be sensitive since I can't properly clean it.

I have it but it's only temp relief. I can avoid pain it's just, I shouldn't be having pain.

I have a wisdom tooth coming in. It is coming in sideways towards my other teeth. And I have no insurance yet. The insurance I DO get will probably not cover this kind of thing... No idea how much it costs and that is going to SUCK.
All of mine were impacted and I used a college grant to pay for it but that was years ago. I don't know what it is now.
Can you get on Medicaid? They usually cover just about any sugary deemed necessary, and you get like a 900$ dental allotment

Medicaid does that? Last I knew they didn't do dental. I have it iirc, but I didn't know that. I will have to look into it. And I wonder if it's nationally all the same or differs by state. Any ideas?
I think it national but I don't know for sure. It kicked in with Obama care.

I got all of mine removed at once when I was 16, I think for preventive measure. At the same time they removed the gum line above a tooth that hadn't wanted to come up after the baby tooth was yanked years before that.
Maybe I need to get that...my mom bought me dental insurance but we can't find anyone who takes them.
You can only get on it if you're under a certain wage bracket
