Walked home, got my truck and a jack, and tried to put on the spare. The jack broke so we couldnt put on the spare, so we left it, on the side of the road, by a hayfield over night. Again, on a rural road, where very few people drive.

Not us. We get up this morning, to find that his damn car was towed last night. $350 tow fee.
He got the money and got the car out of impound, and git the tire replaced but he then needed money for gas. So i give him even more money, because he refuses to be responsible with his own money. So im back down to $100.

Okay so it seems in my life, everyone around me is having expensive shit paid for them by someone close to them, often for no reason at all, my friend just got a new Iphone from her BF, another has a trip paid for her, all that jazz. And I'm just sitting here like "WHY CAN'T SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN TO ME!" I was in a serious relationship for 3 years that I got out of about a year ago and I supported his sorry ass the entire time until he got a super good paying job and dumped me.
My own mother is in about $2000 of debt because she's currently unemployed and we live together so I help her out.
And, yeah, I wanna have a little sook going 'it's not fair!' I work hard, I save as much as I can. I support the people around me. I don't hate the people who get things paid for them, I'm just envious.

okay there is someone in our neighborhood using LOUD EXPLOSIVES (I'm pretty sure it's explosives but it doesn't Echo and it's way too loud to be gunshots) which makes two crazy explosive people in our neighborhood. the police don't care because we don't have enough police to come out and investigate or do literally anything unless someone was brutally murdered. it scares the shit out of me and I think it's the same neighbors who were under police investigation a few years ago (the police had a stakeout in our backyard) and I'm just so worried.

That is so lame. We have had a similar issue with police not showing up when there was a problem. A few months ago my parents were on the front porch talking and relaxing when a neighbor started practice shooting his gun. Well we live in a neighborhood so that was a stupid idea because the bullets came flying by my Mom.My parents started yelling at him and then he came over for like 30min talking to them about random stuff. Crazyyyy! Be careful mermaidofthelabyrinth and be especially careful if you go outside. I hope the police look into the situation.

my clay roller just broke and I've only had it for two days! i was going to remake all my scales so they are thinner but now i can't. i'm afraid to buy a new one because i don't want it to break and not be able to return it. Plus i don't want to spend lots of money on something that i will hardly use.

Ugh, yes it is so annoying >_< I have been married 11 months now and still have a bunch of important stuff to change over.
if you are going to get a rolling pin from Michaels head over to the cake decorating section and get one from there, I work with polymer clay and get a lot of my tools from the baking section because they are cheaper for the same tool... most people have the same problem with the pasta machine from the craft stores by the way, it seems like they are made to break after a few uses.
I wish I'd read this an hour ago. I just got back from Michaels with clay tools. Oh well. I did look in the baking section for molds though.

I was finally able to order a Mahina Merfin (from an ebay seller since the shipping was better and they had the color/size I wanted in stock) last night. And have been excited all day. Only to find an email from the seller saying that they are actually out of stock and will have more in within 10 days, and that I can either wait or they can substitute another color... When I first saw the listing it said there were 3 available. When I ordered mine it said there were 2 available. If there weren't actually any in stock it should never have been listed at all! I know this isn't really something I should be getting worked up about, after all it's not so long to wait. But when I ordered I was told that with the expedited shipping it would be here on Monday and I've been practically counting down with excitement only to have it crushed.
I'm not sure if I should just go with another color and get it on time (maybe) or wait probably 2 weeks for it to come...
Either way I'm highly disappointed...
Is it bad that part of me is highly tempted to see if I can cancel the order because of this?

Rinoa, the same thing happened to me with my Mahina fin when I ordered it off Ebay!
I wonder if it's the same seller? I had originally purchased the Aqua blue fin out of multiple listings of different sizes and colors they had.
They were one of the few places that had my size in the color I wanted (or so I thought), so I grabbed it. The listing showed that there were 2 available.
Then I too, received a message from them about a week later stating they were out of that color but had the same one in Sunset Orange.
I was crestfallen, but took the orange fin since I wanted a Mahina so badly. Plus, I planned to cover it in a fabric tail 99% of the time anyway. Still, that's no less annoying. Sorry that happened to you, too
