Like a lot of people said, I'm just curious what this means for the show's mythology. I don't actually think it will make sense but I'm excited to see how nonsensical it can be.

Between the question of how mermaids are born if they never interact with mermen, the unexplained introduction of new powers and forms of magic at various times, and the whole comet thing at the end of the last series, this could be seriously nonsensical.

I also wonder if they explain the fact that the moonpool was damaged in the series finale of H2O and it couldn't do magic anymore. But I am afraid that they won't answer any of these questions. In the interview with the director Jonathan M. Shiff, he said that he originally considered Mako Mermaids as a prequel to H2O, but now they decided to change it to sequel. So it seems that they don't care about the mythology and timeline so much.

I'm really liking Mako Mermaids season 2 a lot more than season 1. Did anyone else not really like Nixie (or Lyla too)? Idk they were just so...bitchy to me :S Not sure how else to put that to words hahaha
