(Sold!) Gorgeous Green Mertailor for Sale

Hey merfriends! One of my mermaids, Tatiana from Dive Bar in Sacramento is selling her personal tail.

Pros: It's a gorgeous green silicone Mertailor with four fin additions. It has a super reinforced waist, the lovely pirate fluke was just refurbished and the killer paint job is fresh and new as well. This tail was my bosses personal fave at Dive until it was broken by a careless mermaid. Tatiana bought it from Dive and got the snapped fluke repaired and the whole tail repainted.
Cons: It's TINY. There are also a few wear and tear holes in the front of the knees and the back. Easy patch jobs if you know how to do it!

    waist: 24in
    hips: 28 in
    butt: 30 in
    thighs: 26 in
    knees: 18 in
    calves: 16 in
    ankles: 14 in

waist to hips: 4 1/2 in
    waist to butt: 11 in
waist to mid thigh: 16 in
    waist to knees: 25 in
    waist to ankles: 39 in

    feet: womens size 6-7

Email her at tatiana.aguilera@live.com for pricing and more info. I'm not personally selling it, so I won't be able to answer all questions.

This would be almost a perfect fit for me. My 18th birthday is coming up.... Hmmmm

It might be best to give pictures of the current state of the tail instead of these two from the Mertailor page.
You should ask your friend to send you some photos so you can post them here.

The girl selling the tail sent me these pictures of the damage. Unfortunately the tail is just a wee bit too small for me but I'll attach them here for anyone interested.

It's such a beautiful tail. I'm curious as to how much she is selling it for.

She told me $2600 or best offer

You can buy a new tail for 2600. I understand it has new fins, and new paint job but that's a lot for a tail even with a little damage. Hope it finds a great home!

The price would have to be lowered a bit. I mean even with a new paint job and a fixed mono-fin but those holes in the silicone are a big deal even if the repair wouldn't be hard to do, its still damaged.
$2600 could get me a brand new tail from someone else
too bad too cause it's the perfect size for me even if i'm not overly fond of the color

    ATTENTION:
    PLEASE READ

I know this Mermaid personally and from my understanding this tail was sent to like like this AFTER paying for the new fluke, repaint and reinforcements done. The fluke is custom in the sense that is is extra flexible and durable so that it cannot snap again. She asked for reinforcement in the knee area and waist area as well. The waist was reinforced.

She was told by Mertailor himself that his tails will have holes in the skin overtime and that he could do nothing about this to repair. So I think she is just trying to get best offer on the tail and starting at what she paid for it. I have seen it in person and it is absolutely gorgeous! The photos Mertailor sent her are exactly how it looks in person aside from the slight gapping in the knee area. She has not used this tail since getting in back from Mertailor. So the photos she posted are the most recent. She is just looking to sell it.

Aso I think this gapping issue in the sales is common in Mertailor tails. From my understanding it is fairly easy to fix Hannah The Virginia Mermaid had to recently fix this issue in her tail Nova and it just took some e600 or silipoxy and pigment.

Anyway Mermaid Tatiana is extremely nice! Anyone interested in this tail, I would urge you to shoot her an email her because I know she is looking for best offer when it comes down to it. And worst case, you'll end conversation with her having made a new friend. LOL

I agree with Harmony. It's a lovely tail but I wouldn't pay for it if it has already damages that I have to fix it overtime by myself.
I think the price should be lowered. I hope it gets a good home, there aren't many green tails.

I fix holes in my silicone tails all the time. And I've only ever had a few in my entire tail lifetimes. It is bs him saying it can't be fixed -_- I can fix one in under a minute like seriously? If someone does buy it as long as he's using the materials he claims to use you can easily fix it.

If it would fit Nessie and the price was lower I'd consider it for the company. Just hard because anything in USD is 20% more in CAD right now

I was talking to the tail's owner tonight, and she wanted to clarify a few things since she noticed there's some confusion going on re: the state of the tail. Seems there's been some miscommunication somewhere and that's leading to weird rumors that are making it hard for her to sell the tail.

    - The photos she's posting from Eric are the most recent pictures of the tail, she's had it revamped (new paint + new fluke) and it's been unused since she got it back recently.

    - The holes in the tail were supposed to be fixed by Eric when she had it redone, but he didn't fix them and when she pointed it out to him after she got it back, he just gave her some weird excuses saying that holes are to be expected. That said, the holes WILL be repaired before the tail is sent to the buyer, so they won't be an issue for whoever buys it.

    Hopefully that helps.

::EDIT:: aaaaaaannnd apparently this has already been covered above. That's what I get for just skimming the most recent comments before posting. :T WELLP.

I have never wanted to be shorter but this post makes it an actuality. Lol. At 5'8" I don't think that tail is going to fit me ever. And green is my favorite color. Oh well. Beautiful tail. I hope it finds an amazing home.

edit... I have a shorter torso and longer legs.

Eric is a moron. Really, those holes can't be fixed? I have about 20 threads on this forum that say otherwise. Lazy incompetence is all.

Love the look of the tail though! He definitely made these to match the Pirates of the Caribbean mermaids.
