So last blue and white paint layers have been done...
Only have to wait for them to dry then i will be abble to test this new tail in swimming pool...
I'm so impatient...

so yes i liked airbrushing it , it's far better than hand painting, but next time i will start the first layers before gluing the side of the body, when all parts are flat...

for infos phosphorescent paint wasn't a success, it can only be seen in a dark room, even outside by night you can't see any glow as stars are brignter... so i will never use this kind of paint again...
perhaps fluroscent ones are more interesting if you can swim in aquarium... but phosphorescent never again...

think it will need arround 1week and half to be completely dryed due to the weither... it's a little bit cold here and have not enough place to get it inside... lol
so i have to wait... and that's really difficult... lol
i don't know if i will add the little fins yet...

So here is the first test in a swimming pool i made yesterday... and the result is excellent...
the speed i can reach with this one is impressive, i thought my first one was fast... but this one is even more with less effort, i only have to move my ankles... no need for big ondulations...
so that why i play a lot, and didn't take my time to make slow moves... lol

I did finally get out for a photo shoot in the tail Friday. I still need to transfer the pictures to the computer.

hello,
long time i didn't post there... well due to this tail i had 5 orders for making some for other mermaids and mermen... so it's taking a lot of time...

so to answer the plastic cabin was to protect plants from silicone painting and to protect all from rain, wind and dust...

here are some pictures i took recently during a meeting with Arion and Lauriane when she first tried the tail i made for her before finishing the painting process to cover the seams ( pink and purple one)...
