Your Etsy store just SCREAMS experience and skill so I think I'll have to ignore the lack of actual not-stolen product photos from the past 15 years of light-up dresses and fork out more than $1000 for a dress that will DEFINITELY hold up underwater because that is not hard to engineer at all

You'd think if you actually made Carrie Underwood a dress, you'd plaster that name-drop fucking everywhere.

Here's an old pic of my first fabric tail I made myself thanks to a tutorial on YouTube by LittleOrca! It's so dark and shimmery!!! I made it before MerCon/World Mermaid Awards back in 2011! This was taken in the evening in our hotel room while my hair was still good before going to the pool lol! I still have this tail and share mer-moments with my niece (video below!) I just ordered a realistic tail from FinFolk and I can't wait to get it! I'll post the new tail in like a year when I get it lol!

haha! omg yeah i saw that and had to a double take! then i got fascinated with the swirly tail.... i wanna swirly tail *pouts* i think i might play with my next fabric one and swirl pearls and rhinestones around the entirety.... might as well have some fun with the little bit i can afford. i'd kill for space and talent to make my own or the funds to buy one..... speaking of, have any of you bought these gorgeous tails from here? https://www.etsy.com/listing/2455715...=sr_gallery_21 she says "this is an example of a tail i can make for you" for the price if she was that good, i'd jump at it, but i have a feeling that it's possibly a scam since i messaged her and have yet to see any "examples of her work" just letting all my fellow mers know that this is out there for the warning. I saw the post where the mermaid premiered the tail on here. so i recognized it immediately.. if it is the same mermaid, i'd love to know why she's got two shops lol

I messaged Ilonka on deviantart and let her know about this. I gave her the url for Etsy's DMCA takedown form and encouraged her to report it, since it's obviously a scam :/ Hopefully she does.

Here's the tail that I'm hoping to have in production very soon because it's a dream tail for me. I just hope that the real thing lives up to my imagination! I based my tail off of the Juvenile Emperor Fish with a beta fish like fluke. Everyone has such lovely tails!

Thank you Iona, i was in the process of sending it to you too on etsy but my computer died... I emailed the woman asking to see more of her work and all she said was "that is an example, i am in the process of creating more tails and will upload pictures as i finish." i just sent back "i understand that but thats not YOUR creation and i was asking to see one that YOU have done" she has yet to reply. *rolls eyes*

Ocean: Thank you, but unfortunately this tail isn't getting in the water further than what the tide came in on Sunday. This is a primarily dry event tail, unless I decide otherwise cause I don't want to ruin all the time on the scales >_<.

hello,
i wanted to show you the first swimming test of my second silicone tail....
i really had great fun, the speed i can reach was so amazing that i spend all the time testing the limits, and didn't try to make a good swim with undulated all the body... will do that next time...
