    I turned eighteen yesterday. Three family members gave me mermaid themed cards, my dad going so far as to hand cut a felt silhouette for the cover.

    Also, I ordered two finis rapids today! One for me (I've been using duct tape monofins) and the other for my mom, who's curious.

    An adorable little child, no older than 2 pointed at me and said, "Goat!" this weekend. It was so cute.
    She was really excited and happy sounding.

    She repeated it a time or two more while her mom was carrying her around the shop.

    Hehe... yeah.

    I had one little boy as if I was a cow. (It was such a genuine, innocent question). And another little boy exclaim to his mother that I had "horsie toes". She was so confused. It was hilarious.

    Orfhlaith (my faun) is such a fun character. I need to develop her more but the expense was totally worth it. (It is my 2nd most expensive character, not including all the assorted garb I have for my pirate for work.)

    Had a fun (but long) night dressed as Jack Frost for all the little kids out with their parents for the Christmas parade/Festival of Lights. Love when they look up at you with big wide eyes and smiles! And there was actually a cool breeze in the air...positively uncanny for this area!
