(I've never made a silicone tail so don't mind me)
They were part of my first pulls my husband did. Which is why I didn't mind using as testers for top coat stuff. He's learning to to help me make sure I get them done in time.

Those are absolutely gorgeous Pond! I can't wait to see how your tail turns out. Especially with such unique scales.

I'm through with my small order of silicone... I wasn't going to invest 200 bucks if it turned out I was horrible at it, lol
But now I need to buy the big container of it. I'm feeling much more confident

While I"m waiting for the big silicone order I'm trying to get my fluke hashed out n make more molds of the scales so it will go faster. I just really feel like I'm failing at getting the fluke designed. I could certainly go with a basic tail if all else fails but I want to do something different.

I'm going to do my top in a very drapey fabric like this one i saw on Rosegal with a finned collar. Drapey necklaces are in my future too. So if you awesome mers have any ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear it. I've been pouring over fish photos and mer drawings and art deco architecture trying to find my fluke.

Ooh I love your top ideas. Sounds so pretty. Also about your fluke - I draw and design perhaps I could be of help for you?
In fact I may have a fluke design already that would suit you.
