This is from this morning. While my partner was taking footage of me he had set up our *replica but better than* gopro. I like the ending personally, and the bits with the dogs

Also, I've lost about 20lbs, so the tail is understandably baggy on me!

I did three photoshoots this week! Here's a sneak peek from one of them, for New Year's. They were all holiday themed - feel free to follow my FB for when I release them (link in sig)! Also, taking pictures with fireworks is hard. You need to not move a muscle for forever with long exposure. :x

Really cool picture — your tail looks translucent! Is that an illusion?

No, not really. To capture both me and the fireworks we had to use a camera that had the ability to do long exposure. So the deal with that is the camera takes in as much light as it can over an amount of time - if you move at all you will blur. So my tail looking translucent and my face looking a bit off is because I'm trying to stay as still as possible as the picture is being taken. It takes a few seconds.

You looked lovely Annwyn. I love the colour of your tail too.

It's so weird listening to Dutch music though. Besides Jeroen van der Boom, I haven't done that in years.

    Thanks!

Also, did a new personal best yesterday! Went down to -17 meters! Here's a video to prove it :P

Congratulations! That's the Dive4Live, right? They were ok with your tail? I didn't had the courage to ask when I last went there *blush*.

So you have all those certificates that the dive towers require?
There's several apnea/scuba certifications, recent health certificates, etc?

They wanted to see so much stuff I went "know what, screw this" in the end, and simply dived in a lake lol
(double as deep as their tower is, too).

    Anyway, cool video.
It's funny to see you going down there casually while everyone else is in their scuba getup and breathers

I never asked if a tail was okay. I just did it.

And I never had a lot of trouble, it's just giving my freedive certificate (which will be returned to you when you leave) and filling in a form for your health certificate. (which is basically answering 31 times 'no' to all questions) That's it.

I wish I could dive in lakes, but that's way to cold right now haha.

this is the best approach in most cases.

I've never been told to get out of my tail/fin when I just wore them as a matter of fact-
but when I asked beforehand, I've been told "no" almost everywhere!

I totally agree . Sorry if I appeared kind of cold in my previous post. 17m is absolutely amazing, especially in a tail and with style. An achievement to be proud of!

I just got back from a 4-day vacation in Okinawa and I got to have my first ever photoshoot in my tail with an AMAZING photographer who worked with me and did the shoot TFP. I left the shoot walking on a cloud! She was really awesome and even took us to a special "lagoon" spot. Then proceeded to direct me (which I love because I take direction well, but am nto very good at knowing what to do off hand). And we just had a really fun time and from the pictures she showed me and from what I've seen of her portfolio, I know they will come out beautiful. Only downside is that due to the timeframe and the holidays fast approaching, I won't see the finished product until after the new Year. But that's a very minor setback.

Awesome! I love your tail! It's like a whale fluke - probably my favorite shape!
