Have no fear, I was wearing shorts. I have some hiking shorts that make much better swim trunks than actual swim trunks, except they stay wet for a long time.
It was in a hotel pool. I hate to admit it, but my wife succeeded in capturing the moment.

Ever get that Annoying itch that is on a leg, calf, etc. and you just cant get it because your suppose to be a real mermaid around the kids and even scratching/rubbing it over the tail seems to make it worse.. Oh My God.

I was trying to not make it obvious I was itchy, and pretend to adjust my swimsuit and dig in deep giving it a one scratch. But my one piece swimsuit, there is nothing to adjust in the chest area as I made it a full coverage one. In the end, I just swam to the boom in the middle, dipped underwater, faced the boom and scratched!

I just ran it through the sewing machine again, taking in some fabric. It works fine now.

TAMW you want to go to a new location but don't want to change out of your tail, and you don't have a mertender. So you and your two friends decide it will be a good idea to sit on a skateboard and have them pull you to the location.. only to discover the skateboard doesn't take sharp enough turns and people are videotaping the entire thing..

TAMW one sees a small family showing the lifeguard some pictures on their phone and asking questions, and you can see him keep looking directly at you, so you glare back at him, in the end he shakes his head and say no, and they move on.

TAMW one's niece ask you to show her a trick and you do, but forget to plug up the back of your throat, and swallow a lungful of water, but still trying to look cool without choking and gasping for air, so you blow bubbles underwater but it feels like you're gonna puke. So one pops back up and says, "Haha! Time for YOU to take a break!"

I did make up a story like weeks afterwards that a jealous sea witch made it turn into fabric because I sank a fishing trawler in her yard, but it matters very little now. Kid was a tourist anyways. :/
