    I made my fried, NyanKitti55, a tail design, based off of - you guessed it - Nyan Cat. PLease don't use, though you can use as inspiration...

    Features - Purple fluke, four extra fins (two side, two fluke) silver dorsal fin and rainbow fringe on the fluke. Plus a custom top.
    She doesn't have an account on here, that's her Minecraft username.

    It reminds me of a thorny rose sort of design, very cool. I def agree with Pearlie that the fluke should be bigger- it helps create that mermaid illusion.

    Hello guys, im a fairly new mermaid to this forum (well, mernetwork in general) but ive been looking at the beautiul designs in this forum as well as the merbellas thread..so i guess i know my way around here I consider myself a mermaid but i have no tail (yet). Regardless, I LOVE designing tails and trying new concepts!!

    I don't know where to post this, but I'm trying to come up with a name for my mermaid self. I like to use certain gemstones that reflect a little bit of my personality but also has similar visual properties to my future tail which will be mega-iridescent but color shifting too (like those pretty duochrome eyeshadows and reflects pigments from MAC). The actual colors though are going to be shades of blues (aqua/turquoise/teal) or lighter shades of purple.
    So i found these names of gemstones but have trouble tweaking them somehow into a pretty name :Opal, Aura, Chalcopyrite (peacock ore), moonstone
    I'd really like to know what your opinions are or if you have any ideas, i'm open
