    I bought my wedding dress! I am absolutely dying because I want to show it to people, but I can't let my fiancee see it.

    The Happy Thread!

    This is completely non-mermaid related.... Hopefully that's ok! I'm working with my wonderful friend, Riley, on a project for my ASL class that I'm very passionate about! We're going to perform a romantic duet integrating sign language and dance, telling a story of a couple who breaks up but is still in love. It's making my heart happy to do something I love with someone who is just so kind and talented!!! I just wanted to share some joy with you guys.

    Thanks for all the nice comments! I had been looking at this one online for months, then it happened to go on sale. I called my Mom and we were done dress shopping within a half hour. It's now hanging up at my parents house.

    Now I just have to wait 20 more months till I get to wear it! (I am not good at this whole "patience" thing)

    My neoprene came this morning and I just got some more red and white paint and textile medium at Michaels. The Michaels by my work never has any textile medium so I'm super stoked that the one by my college has it, they only had 2 bottles so I got them both. I really wish I had the day off today so I can mix my paint colors and cut out my fluke pieces. I'm super happy to be making my first realistic sequin/neoprene tail!
