So June bugs aka potato bugs ..... they borrow into clay

idk if your June bugs are the same as our June bugs but I hate the little creeps!

Oh man! I hate those guys. I hope it won't be too much trouble to repair.

what are june bugs? Was it your fluke sculpt!? Was it your Scales!? or spare clay? I hope everything is ok!
Okay, get a grip, get the hang of this flipper,
It's like slipping two feet into one big huge slipper.
I can't believe I can do this and more,
To swim in the sea like I walk on the shore.
Out of my shell not closed up like a clam,
Look out sea, this is me, here I am....
"Little Mermaid 2 Return to the Sea"
My stupid phone just gave me the notifications for your thread. Is the clay still salvageable? It looks like it from the picture but I don't know anything about June bugs.
Yikes!! We don't get June bugs over here - thankfully! I hope that wasn't a sculpt...
My first encounter with June bugs was using pool noodles to rescue them from drowning in my aunt and uncles pool in Oklahoma. I had no idea they could do that to clay - it's actually quite impressive!

I'm in Oklahoma actually and they are all over right now, they really are drawn to the porch lights.
The June bugs are beetles.
And thankfully it was into the dam around the outside of my fluke not into the design part

I'm in okc, I haven't seen the june bugs yet this year, but maybe they don't like third floor apartments.
I'm glad the sculpt itself is okay!

I'm glad the sculpt is ok! After putting in all that work I think I'd have cried and thrown a temper tantrum if a bug had burrowed into it!
Whenever I've been over its always been in summer and there was never a shortage of June bugs! They really seemed drawn to the pool lights - shame they didn't seem able to swim...
