Hello beautiful Mers!!

So I’ve been selling my handcrafted goods locally for a few years now and decided recently to branch out a bit! I opened my Etsy shop a couple weeks ago and wanted to offer a special discount to my merfriends here on Mernetwork!

Everyone I’ve come across on this forum has always been so sweet and supportive to me! As many of you know a kind word when you really need it can truly work miracles!\

So as a special “thank you” I am offering 15% off to all my Mernetwork peeps! I figure since some of what I make is mermaid related, a few of you might really be interested in the discount!

Here are some pics of what I make and what is available. The trinket boxes are mostly sample pics since they sell about as fast as I make them….but I wanted to give you some examples of what you might find in my shop in the future as well JI have four new trinket boxes in the works! The Rear View Mermaid Tails are all available, as well as the Mermaid’s Scale Necklaces and a few other non Mer related items!

I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I enjoy making them! If you have any questions or special requests please let me know! I could certainly try a custom color on the scale necklace! Are you looking for something that would match your tail? Let me know what you have in mind and I will see what I can whip up!

Thank you Mermaid Jaffa! I make them to represent mermaid tails but art is all about interpretation so they could be considered fish too!

I guess it's up to you and how you see it!

These could be worn as pendants but I think they are a little large (they range about 3-5 inches long) but I am considering making smaller versions for necklaces. My only reservation is others have already done that and I like to make things no one else has yet

If I do make pendants I will post them here!

I'd love to give it a shot! Do you have a design I could look at? Worst-case scenario is I could try and if you didn't like it you wouldn't have to buy it. I only take payment once the product is complete and the customer's happy

Are the fish pendants durable enough to be bag tags? Or key chains?

Hm.....good question! I think so!

The flukes would be my only concern cause I sculpt them a little thin to create a tattered effect.....but I bet if I add a few extra coats of clear varnish that would make them much stronger! So yes these could be used for bag tags or key chains! What a great idea!!!!!

So these cutie "Gurrs" are not really Mer related but they are cute non the less so I wanted to share them with you all! The MERNETWORK discount code works for these too, and the blue one is set at a pretty good price right now cause of a very minor defect!

BUT I NEED YOUR HELP/ADVISE PLEASE!!!!!

I want to make an aquatic series of Gurr's.....but I'm not sure how to incorporate them into an aquatic being. I was thinking of making the bottom halves mertails....but I'm just not sure. So far I've made two series, Kodama Gurrs and now the Baby Dragon Gurrs...and I really want to do the next one to be aquatic somehow but I'm having a terrible block!!!

Any suggestions???? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks guys!
