    lol But Mermaids do exist in their world. The line the greyjoys are derived from originated from the union between a man and a mermaid. In their religion mermaids also inhabit the kingdom of the drowned god. I also think it was mentioned that sailors have seen mermaids near lannisport. Given that fact that there is magic, dragons, giants, warlocks, and zombies; mermaids don't seem out of place in their world.
