This is my first time trying to post a photo, hope it works...
Last weekend myself and fellow merfolk from California met at Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe for a photo shoot.

So as a few folks know, Seaglass and her husband are visiting me for the week for their 2-year anniversary! So we've been running around and being goofy mersisters and hitting up all the local touristy stuff and yesterday we had our first chance to go mermaiding together at Manuels River! I'd bought a submersible phone case for a snorkeling-with-whales trip we went on earlier in the week, and I figured we could use it for the mermaiding thing, too!

Some of the pics came out a little funny because of the clear covering on the phone case, but overall I'm pretty proud of how they turned out.

We have an actual professional photoshoot on Friday, but here's these silly ones we took on our own in the meantime!

Had a little pod meetup at the beach on one of the local islands. Unfortunately didn't get a shot of all three of us, due to the lack of anyone with legs to take photos xD, but I did get a few nice shots of me in my tail. (Thanks Mermaid Chrissa :3 )

Also: if you don't live around here you might not understand but sand beaches in this area are so rare. I haven't been swimming at one in years. Mm, warm sand.

Some behind-the-scenes pics from mine and SeaGlass's photoshoot last week! <3 The photographer, who I've known for a few years, was AWESOME to work with and she was SO excited to get the chance to do a mermaid shoot! We got to see previews of the photos she took on her camera while we were drying off on the riverbank, and they look AMAZING even without any post-editing! I am seriously so stoked to see them when they're finished!
