I am super jealous and proud (guess this mer-love runs in the family) and i am holding in my compulsion to hand over a list of tail makers to my mother to give her some options lol Ofcourse, being male, ive pretty nuch always kept my love of merpeople in from my rather dull family and have been plotting to save money and buy my own tail without anyone knowing. So it just makes me happy tgat my sister will be able to live the dream ive wantwd to since i was her age.
Im debating if i myself should buy it for her. Shes 8. And im still trying to decide if i should go with the much cheaper and safer fabric tail....or go all out and get a cheap silicone one. What say you guys?
Silicone tails are not for beginners, and they're so expensive that it doesn't make sense to get one for an 8-year-old who will quickly grow out of it. Go for fabric. There are beautiful fabric tails and she'll have more fun being a mermaid without having to deal with the upkeep and hassle of a silicone tail. Also, I think it would be super sweet if you got your lil sis a tail!

If you're talking about one for yourself, I say go for a fabric one asap and keep saving for a silicone one. I know I want a silicone tail, but I also know that I will still get or make a fabric tail for travel and ease.
